Night Audit - relief
Relief Night Audit – Jasper Inn & Suites
Job Summary:
As a team our goal is to create an unforgettable, picture-perfect experience for our guests. Your role in that goal is very important! At Jasper Inn & Suites by INNHotels, our Night Auditor wears many hats – from Front Desk Agent to Guest Liaison to Accounting; they do it all and are vital to the Day to Day!
Casual - 2 days a week/16 hrs a week, 11 pm to 7 am, year-round/permanent
Starting Wage of $19
A second language is an asset.
Hotel Front Desk or Night Audit experience an asset.
Job Responsibilities:
- Register arriving guests and assign rooms
- Take, cancel, and change room reservations
- Provide information on hotel facilities and services
- Provide general information about points of interest in the area
- Investigate and resolve complaints and claims
- Process guests' departures
- calculate charges and receive payments
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
- Assist accounting
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
- Follow emergency and safety procedures
- Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying)
- Assist clients/guests with special needs
- Handle wake-up calls
- Provide customer service
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages

AM Server - Inn Grill

Job Summary:
As a team our goal is to create an enjoyable dining experience. Your role in that goal is very important! At The Inn Grill/Jasper Inn & Suites, our Servers make sure our guests are welcomed like family.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greeting & interacting with diners in a friendly manner
- Seating diners quickly upon arrival
- Taking food/drink orders in a timely manner & correctly
- Shifts start at 6:30 am
- Answering any questions/concerns regarding the menu or making recommendations
- Bringing orders to the tables in a timely manner
- Checking that diners are enjoying their dining experience
Qualifications:

Front Desk Agent
Front Desk Agent – Jasper Inn & Suites
Job Summary:
As a team our goal is to create an unforgettable, picture-perfect experience for our guests. Your role in that goal is very important! At Jasper Inn, our Front Desk Team wears most of the hats of a traditional hotel - from reservation specialist to activities director; our FDA's do it all!
Full time, 40 hrs a week, year round
Starting Wage of $17 to $18
A second language is an asset.
Night Audit experience an asset.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Check in and Departure of hotel guests.
- Answer the hotel phone, both internal and external calls.
- Be an expert on local and onsite services and be able to provide information about them.
- Sell and book local activities. Commission on some bookings.
- Use accurate accounting and cash handling procedures.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to guest requests.
- Communicate very effectively with all other departments within the hotel.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of rooms, reservations, and room assignments.
- Manage reservations made by phone, email and through OTA’s.
- Co-ordinate and supervise guest activities.
- Represent the culture of Jasper Inn & Suites and build repeat guests.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:

- Previous Front Desk and/or Customer Service experience is preferred.
- Relevant education and experience in a hospitality or tourism setting
