Front Desk Agent

Full time, 40hrs/week, year-round
  • Starting wage $15.50-16.50/hr
  • Summer bonus

  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  • Process group arrivals and departures
  • Take, cancel and change room reservations
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • Provide general information about points of interest in the area
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments
  • Assist guests with special requests
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill
  • Team player
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service focused
  • Able to multi-task
  • Front desk experience is an asset
  • Second language is an asset

• As a representative of the hotel, must have a presentable appearance (clean uniform, tidy hair….)
• Have a suitable comprehension of English in order to communicate with fellow staff and hotel guests
• Ability to work with a team as well as work independently without supervision
• Legally able to work in Canada, we do not offer LMIA

• Sweep, mop and wash floors; dust furniture
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Stock linen closet
• Clean, disinfect and polish bathroom and kitchen fixtures and appliances
• Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
• Provide basic information on facilities
• Handle complaints
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings
• To communicate with your Teammates
